1		Batch of your favorite tur- key stuffing mixture
1/2	c	Uncooked popcorn

Mix uncooked popcorn with your favorite turkey stuffing mixture. Fill turkey cavity with mixture and cook by standard directions. When you blow the ass off the bird, you know that the turkey is cooked through and is ready to serve.

This recipe dates circa 1935.
